Sunday Rundown 3.9.08

by Tyler

Tonight I had the chance to lead worship again at Overflow, the high school ministry at Sunset. Jenni was out of town for most of the weekend so I told her I would help her out a bit. Here was the set.

Main Set

  • My Future Decided (A)
  • My Glorious (E)
  • From the Inside Out (F)
  • Remedy (G)

Message Response

  • Hungry (C)
  • All We Need (G)

I can’t put my finger on why tonight was awesome but it was. Maybe it was seeing the kids sing out and step out of their comfort zones on Inside Out, maybe it has just been a while since I’ve led, but it was wonderful. It was one of those where I’m just exhausted and that is a good thing. Sometimes I come home feeling pooped knowing I didn’t give my all, but tonight was not one of those times.

I thought the set flowed great which is mostly a testament to Marshall (electric), Nick (piano), and Ty (drums) who had the transitions down so we would have really minimal down time. All We Need by Charlie Hall was a new one and I think it went over really well. Despite having some issues getting the right music to everyone, overall tonight was an awesome night.
