A Date
2008
April

Some couples go to dinner and movie.
Others go to the beach and spend the night.
And still others buy each other nice gifts.
Rose and I go to the coffee in the winter and go on walks in the summer.
It helps out the budget.
What do you do for a cheap date?
Go here if you want to read my stuff more often.

Tyler Braun.
hah! dates… what are those? any time we have a babysitter is considered a date in our book. but we do like to go into restaurant lounges during happy hour and indulge on cheap food and cheap drinks. newport bay, roadhouse and applebees have good happy hour menus.
happy hour is a good one too. we like gustav’s…a german restaurant up here. they have an absolutely killer happy happy. fondue, burger, and a beer for under $10.
Well,
For a nice dinner date, normally I’d book a five star waterfront restaurant, complete with the three piece band playing soft jazz in the background, nice bouquet of flowers (ok that’ll be the first and last time I use the word ‘bouquet), order a seven course meal, then go to a nice club for some after dinner drinks, then probably either go for a walk or back to my place to veg in front of the couch and watch a movie.
the day i can afford that is the day i go golfing again
Wait I didn’t say I did all that for two people?
(ok me and my weird single people joke…)
haha.
THAT was funny.
Friday is my day off. Tam and I go out to coffee every Friday. Of course sometimes we just run errands. We are definitely simple and cheap!
brent…..great minds think alike buddy.
Max ride downtown, get off at the Old Town Max station, walk to the waterfront, head north on the riverwalk, cross the steel bridge, head south on the waterfront, cross the Hawthorne, run through the Salmon Springs fountain, walk up and catch happy hour some where…
GREAT cheap date!
good idea…might have to do that soon.
