I Did A Triathlon

From the sidelines 
I’m sure if I trained I could probably do a duathlon (I’m not a big swimmer). But today I cheered on my sisters who did a sprint triathlon at Blue Lake in East Portland. They finished 12th and 24th out of all the women, and 2nd in their respective age groups. Yes…that is impressive.
When we were pulling in to watch them my dad said, “I bet this sort of thing will make us want to do it.”
I said, “I bet this sort of thing will make me thankful I didn’t pay money to get my butt kicked.”

looks kind of painful. I would probably get a cramp right in the middle of the swim and just sink.

congrats to both, and come on big bro, maybe you can do a “tri”, with golfing as an alternative to swimming.

Lynne- Yes they are tough, and if golf is ever offered as an option instead of swimming I’ll be the first one in line for a triathlon.
