Winter in August

August
16
Being that it has been over 100 degrees in Portland the past 3 days, I must say I am happy to be in 50 degree weather right now. Of course, it feels like February to me because the weather here in August is kind of like February in Portland. Only a few days left on the trip…Here are some of my favorite pictures of the trip so far:
If you want to see them all head to my Flickr page or the Facebook album I made.

During our kayaking day

Elephant Rock in Kachemak Bay

An otter in Otter Cove (oddly enough)

Silver salmon caught on Deep Creek
Tyler Braun.
Way to go Tyler! Your fish is totally bigger…or maybe you’re just holding it closer to the camera, I can’t tell.
Mine was actually a bit bigger but Rose caught hers before me. So I think she would say we’re even. That was until yesterday when I got one and she got none
Great pictures!!
