The band was a delight to be a part of. I've been humming My Soul Sings since last Thursday's practice... somthing about the chorus. Love the song, love the chord progressions, love the total style of the song.

Loved My Soul Sings. (I've heard it somewhere before, but can't remember where.)
Thanks for skipping the greeting.

No greeting. I'm about 50% on that mostly and my preference as an attender is to avoid the awkwardness. But I'm an introvert...my wife enjoys the greet time.

Man, I'd play EVERYTHING tuned down a 1/2 step if I could get away with it!
I LOVE Deliver Me. It used to be a staple in our set with my old band when we'd play Youth functions!

I'll keep that in mind next time I play. Just have Janet tune the piano up half step.

Yeah F# makes for some really annoying guitar chords. I just tuned down a half step and played in G...gave my guitar a more bass-y sound.

Our weekend was pretty sweet. We heard from Dr. Earl Radmacher in the service and, although he went about 35 minutes beyond the end of our service, it was awesome. He has been in ministry or Christian education for twice as long as I have been alive. He covered a lot of subjects, but mainly spoke on what it looks like to be a "body of believers". It was both encouraging and convicting, exactly what a Sunday morning should be.

The youth staff then gathered for about 5 1/2 hours to sharpen our focus in the ministry. It was a very encouraging time and I look forward to to what God will continue to do...

Have a good week, Tyler.
