Well they’ve always been open, but I’ve decided to allow anyone to comment without previous moderation. Previously I’ve had to OK any comment from a new commenter. This has proven to be a time burden as more and more people comment.

So I’ll be looking to you loyal readers to help me by promoting the things I desire in comments: civility, respect, openness, and I guess it would be okay to have an opinion too

I’ll still be able to delete comments that don’t meet those above expectations.

For those of you who don’t comment…there is nothing to be scared of. Just fill in the “name” and “email” categories. If you have a website url you can fill that one in too, but you don’t have to. The email is just so that my blog can recognize that you are a real person.
