I too liked the set. I think the set lists have been improving a ton over the past few months. I think you and Jay and whoever are putting together the lists are getting into a good rut. I love that you guys are always analyzing and seeing how we can make things smoother as well. If people are striving to continually make things better...good things happen.

I want to learn "Cannons" soon!

Our service order usually looks like this
Worship
Prayer time
Guest welcome
offering
Announcement video (The Buzz) while offering plates are passed
Meet & Greet
Sermon
Prayer and invitation

We have found that the time while the offering is being passed is the perfect time to show our weekly announcement video.

We do the offering at the very end of the service and lead into a brief announcement with it. We've tried it in 4 or 5 different places and I'm never happy!

I love your set list for the day. We are going to learn "Cannons" in February. Do you happen to have a vocal chart done for it? I can't find one anywhere and I'd rather not start from scratch if I could help it. Not my strong suit. Anyway, if you have it, if you'd be willing to email it to me I'd appreciate it.

Have a wonderful trip to Alaska, Tyler!

I've seen that work at some churches. Don't get me wrong I think the offering can be used to continue to draw people in, but for whatever reason...today it felt like people were staring and not worshiping with a song that I know they know.

Hi Tyler,
How cool, I really like the book of Habakkuk also. I am constantly being drawn back to it.
I also love when a set is is full of my favorites. hee, hee.
Just passing on. We don't "do" offering. We have (locked) boxes inside both doors to the auditorium. It is in the bulletin about location, etc. and our members all know where to place their tithes. We choose from the beginning to not "pass" since we are really focused on the skeptic. That's how we handle it.
