yeah the high schoolers sunday morning class has always been a strange idea to me even though i know that there are churches that do it. i think it's more effective for high schoolers to have a separate night (it was wednesdays when i was in h.s.)...a night where there weren't parents, you could hang out w/ kids your own age, feel a sense of freedom to worship God w/o the pressure of mom and dad being near by. but that's just my opinion. hope those parents work out their needs.

good book on women in the church: lauren cunningham's "why not women?"- cunningham was founder of ywam. it's one of my favorite books on the role of women in the church and addresses the "literal" verses the scripture-culture specific of various verses in the bible. i personally believe that women can have just as much authority as men...even the same kind of authority.

i also don't know that print media will die in our generation. it's on a downslope for sure. but our parents have a ways to go and their generation, while catching up to our still likes their newspapers in the morning. not only that but magazines are still a pretty big sale (feeling the effects of course, but)...esp. in the fashion industry and so forth. it's more profitable for them to offer less on their websites or different things on their websites so that people will buy. and many in our generation still like picking up mags every now and then for a plethora of reasons...
