Something about the Holy Week is so refreshing. It takes our focus off of church and onto Christ.

Hope to see many of you today or tomorrow at Sunset. 4pm, 6:30pm on Saturday and 9 and 11am on Sunday.

Blogs

  1. Dan Kimball on discovering and escaping liturgy. I think he is onto something there.
  2. The third way of civility. This is definitely what I desire and envision for the comments and discussions that happen on this blog, and at my seminary and church.
  3. Ministry in a dying (literally) church.
  4. Desmond Tutu says “we don’t need to prove ourselves to God.”
  5. Jay on spiritual warfare during Easter weekend.
  6. Don Miller shared some thoughts on The Mentoring Project (I sent in my application for the internship this week).
  7. An open letter to Christian creatives.

actually the texting doesn’t surprise me…my 17 yr old sister has pushed the texting bill frequently- amazing isn’t it? i think it’s a addictive drug at this point for teens. i actually do not keep unlimited texts for a reason, if you got time to type the letters then find time to call me! ha ha
