eh you make time for what you want to make time and blogging’s cool, so why not?

i don’t know, tyler, it’d be interesting to see you write something that doesn’t have to do w/ theology, school, church or even sports,….which seem to be your dominant subjects. how about science? or something you learned walking down the street one day? or a new person you met? or and artistic/poetic muse?

i don’t know….might be interesting. wink

Im still learning what blogs are so 1 x a week is good. I am a fan of provoking thought by any means to do that and preferably surprising. seems like you can tackle the traditional issues. I also enjoy the minute aspects of your life.

@branford you make a great point. The deal is to stay consistent. I know that even blogs that post once every 2 weeks on a consistent basis I don’t read, so going to 5 or 6 times a week will not hurt you at all.

And about the non-purposeful posts, keep them. I want to know about your bike riding and other things. It helps the reader get to know you.

whether you end up doing 2/week or 6/week, i applaud your consistency.

btw, IMO, there’s nothing wrong with blogging the occasional post that “doesn’t have some type of purpose” (as long as you don’t spam it on twitter)

now, i know that twitter is a great place for twitpic’ing your lunch and other trivial stuff, but registering it in blog format does have it’s usefulness.
there’s a kind of linear documentation that’s kind of cool, like for when people browse through old posts.
also, twitter is infinite-way communication, as opposed to a Tyler-focused medium.

random note: i’ve seen some stream-of-consciousness type blogs that are pretty fun and entertaining… (not saying that you’d want to go that way – just sayin’)

As a very irregular blogger, I have no beef with your decision to lighten your load a little bit (though writing one fewer post a week isn’t much of a step down!) and it seems to be quite wise. You’ve got a keep your priorities in order and blogging should never affect real-life relationships. Kudos for your choice.

As for specific topics, if I get to choose I’d really love to read more about the working of worship ministry. Thanks for your willingness to share w/ us readers.

I like everyday, but that is just because I read blogs everyday and publish everyday. But I understand with the change going on and your time.
