I really looked forward to debate season and I have been thoroughly disappointed by it. I thought both candidates would provide new insights into their ideas for our country, but I have heard nothing I didn’t know from previous debates they had during the primaries or from speeches given during the conventions.
So I think tonight was a good night if for no other reason than voting day is coming quickly and the debates are over. I’m up to my ears in political jargon. Earmarks this, pork barrel that…none of this makes any sense to the average person. Oh, and I almost forgot about “fundamental differences.” I’m sick of it, glad it is done.
Somehow tonight, “Joe the plumber” became the face of every American. Talk about coming out of left field. Somewhere this guy is sitting in his living room thinking…”are they talking about me?” You can read about the real Joe HERE.
