LifeShare
I think tonight was a ground breaking night for Christians on the internet. Tonight was the launch of LifeShare. You can read about it HERE. I’ll be following along the lines of their ideas of how this can work. Here is what people are saying about it so far…
The idea comes from Carlos, Tony, and the guys at the LifeChurch.tv internet campus. You might ask me…”Tyler, you don’t go to LifeChurch, so why are you supporting this?” To that I would say, this isn’t about any specific church, this is about being THE CHURCH. Which is exactly why I’m going to focus in on this through the next 7 days on my blog.
The great thing is that this is only going to be as big as all you readers want it to be through your blogs, Facebook pages, and in the comments.
I think tonight was an example of how God can use the internet to draw people to Himself.
I have a goal that within the next week that somehow this idea will bring about a face to face hang out time with someone who I don’t know yet. I don’t have a million readers a day so that won’t be easy, but I know it can happen, but only with your help.
The picture up above is a symbol of what this internet collaboration means to me. Too often the internet is used as a haven for people who feel completely alone. I hope that as we share our stories of life and relationship with Jesus that we break down the barriers in people’s lives and bring them into community.
If you want to be a part of this beyond just my blog you can read about everything HERE.

Tyler Braun.
Yes, this is awesome.
Nice image too.
Wow – there is a lot of substance to this! Will spend more time later this morning getting more checked out. I want to look at some of the resources and also catch tonight’s broadcast. In the mean time, have posted info on my facebook and sent a message to my tweeps via twitter. Thanks for sharing!
Image is cool! Might have to share that one with the LifeShare peeps. Love your take in this post. Excited to hear all the unique stories to come from this.
I agree! Groundbreaking stuff. Great logo too man!
Tyler:
Saw your name in the chat last night and thought “Now there is a name I can relate to”.
I agree totally with what you say here. My space is small and dead too.
But we can make a difference. I’ll be praying that God brings about a chance for you this week.
Oh, and I am adding your blog to my google reader. I like what I have read.
Fellow stranger,
Aaron
I hope you will get your wish.
I also hope that this will be a way to overcome some barriers to community and that God through this will be worshipped.
Life has been gnarly the last three weeks, but that’s life.
The pic is cool and creepy, reminds me of something wicked this way comes for some reason.
