Do you like warm weather?

Do you like to blog and Twitter and shoot videos for YouTube/Vimeo?

Are you a self starter?

Then THIS JOB is for you.

It is called the “best job in the world.”great barrier reef

The job will take you to the islands of the Great Barrier Reef in Queensland, Australia (one of the most beautiful spots in the world if you’re asking me).

The main responsibilities: Blog, take pictures and shoot videos, feed the fish, snorkle, clean your pool, and deliver the mail for one day.

I know…rough right?queensland australia

The job lasts for 6 months and you get paid just over $100k in US dollars. You are given a house to live in and have most activities and expenses paid for.

I don’t think I’ll have to tell you to apply because this is legit and has to be one of the best jobs in the world (you have 5 days left to apply).

What do you think is the best job in the world?

there are days i am completely tempted to apply for this job! we covered it at work about a month ago….and man, i seriously considered getting on the bandwagon. what stopped me? don’t ask, i’m sure obvious things…ha ha…but man that looks amazing. of course looking into it, you have to realize, you’ll be televised as a reality show basically….

Two of the ones I’ve had:
1)having the opportunity to stay at home caring for my three children when they were young – there’s nothing like a snuggle with one of your babies. hard yes, rewarding – even more so.

    2) Getting to help people experience and connect with God. I think being a worship leader is a hugely rewarding job. Again, not the easiest or cushiest and it certainly isn’t paying 100k per year, or even two. But there is NOTHING like watching people worship God. I get to be a part of that and for that I am thankful – hard times and all.

it asks if you have a criminal record… I wonder which answer they’re hoping for.

This has had so much publicity down here (not surprisingly). I think the best bit of that was the lady who tattooed herself to do her video…and it was then revealed she worked for the agency behind the innovative recruitment methods.

For me, the best job in the world would be doing what I do in church right now, and not having to do the outside church stuff to support me and my family. Making this a reality is getting closer and closer. This is good!

Hands down … being a pastor.

The ability to be able to focus much of your day digging deep in both peoples lives and God’s word while thoroughly depending on Jesus to make those things understandable is the best job in the entire world. In spite of how hard/draining it could be.

Believe it or not mine would be a fantasy sports writer/expert. I guess I think of the question as outside what I’m pursuing for a job at this point in my life. There are guys who write for Yahoo Sports and ESPN fantasy sports and get paid to do it. That job would be a dream for me. I already spend way too much time on fantasy sports, this way I would just get paid to do it.
