Idea Camp – Man of Depravity

I’ve been following Idea Camp for over a year now. I love the concept behind the whole thing.

In a few weeks Idea Camp will be holding an event in Portland for the first time (if you want to read about the concept behind Idea Camp go here)

When: November 20-21 (Friday and Saturday)

Where: Portland Foursquare Church in East Portland

At the event we will be holding the first ever Idea Camp Film Contest. I’m helping spearhead trying to make this happen. Here is the info you need to know about for submitting a video:

The videos should come under theme for The Idea Camp PNW: Being present with the city: where the sacred and the human(e) collide.
All films should be digital and NO LONGER than 5 minutes.
Film submission deadline is Friday November 13th 11:59pm PST.
Please submit film as AVI or MOVIE files or provide a link to the Vimeo url for the video.
You will be notified if your film has been selected for the top 5.
Top 5 films will be shown during Idea Camp PNW and voted upon by Idea Campers (both those present in person and online)
Top 3 finalists will be announced Nov 21st.
The 3 finalists will have their films shown on the IDEA CAMP website and marketed through the social mediums of Idea Camp. Also, the finalists will be interviewed at the Idea Camp during a general session.
The first place winner will receive a special Idea Camp prize to be announced November 21st.
