This is Crazy Cool
If you are reading this before 8am Pacific Time Monday, Rose and I are en route back from Homer to home. I have TONS of video that I’ll go through in the coming days and weeks to put together some semblance of what we did on our trip other than kayaking. If I usually read your blog and I haven’t commented it is probably because my reader is quickly approaching 400, so I will comment soon. It has been a great time away and a rare chance to disconnect.
Now for a look at one of the things from over the past week. A few years ago when Rose and I were engaged, I caught my first salmon. She preceded to kill it and then gut and clean it. I just had to show this, too cool not to. Don’t worry the killing part is not in this video.
(Video embedded RSS readers, it is worth a glance, pretty interesting)

Tyler Braun.
Loved the video.
Since we live in Oklahoma we noodle for catfish.
Not really, I mean not us specifically anyway.
Thanks for the video. I have never seen a fish cleaned. I fish but I always throw everything back.
How could you marry such a ruthless murderer?
Tyler,
Very informational man. I was time-warped right back to my sophomore year biology class. (Actually, in truth my friend and I were “contentious objectors.” We sat in the hall and filled out worksheets while everyone else dissected pigs. I think I got a D in that class.)
Rose ROCKS! That was so sweet!
My other takes out the garbage AND fart the alphabets in tune. He’s pretty awesome.
Wow, that’s jacked up!
You got me hooked on Vimeo by the way! It’s awesome.
Darin- O yes cat fish…I remember those in Minnesota.
Vin- You should see her dad murder those fish. I’ll post a video on that soon.
Billy- Objector…that is awesome man. I was never a big science class guy.
Jenni- I gotta hear those farting talents of Brian’s.
Kyle- Vimeo is like uber times better than youtube…the quality is night and day.
Dude, you so married up!
rose…you rock! love your nail polish!
Brent- I unashamedly married up. Come on…you can relate.
Tam- Rose says “yeah it kind of contradicts itself, haha. Thanks.”
actually rose – it cements all the more that you are one confident woman!
Rose: “There’s the heart…..it’s not beating….it’s dead.” Tyler: “That’s a good thing.” Tyler, the way you said that cracked me up. Ha ha.
I am so glad that Grandpa taught me to clean fish correctly. I find it AMAZING that Rose does that with such ease. Rose, you ROCK! I need someone to take me to catch fish bigger then 12 inch Trout. I was never able to come to Oregon with Grandpa to catch Salmon. I ‘m so sorry I never did. Tyler, you’ve got a keeper!
Wow that was pretty freakin cool! those salmon were a little bit bigger then the trout i used to catch fly fishing in idaho! I loved how seroius she was about it
