Hopeless

A few weeks ago we had an original drama performed. It was written by the 2 women who act in this piece.

In what seems to be the biggest economic crisis in a long, long time, and during election season….the words of both women truly resonate deep within me. Our focus this morning was on prayer. Both women present two different ways that we approach God with our prayers.

Which one are you?

I’m Frank’s wife (except without Frank)…I’ve prayed the very same Scripture and have bawled through “Blessed Be Your Name.” “Blessed be your name/On the road marked with suffering/Though there’s pain in the offering/Blessed be Your name” gets me every time. But then again, “I am still confident of this: I will see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.” (Ps 27:13) -K-
