I applied for a summer internship with The Mentoring Project last week. Haven’t heard anything back, but I am excited about the possibility of being involved.
You can read some of why I want to be a part of this HERE.
Don Miller wrote a great post on TMP and some vision behind it.
I’ve seen two great videos that explain a lot the “why” behind the organization.
Bottom line: ridding the world of fatherlessness through mentors would change the world.
I won’t say anything else because these two videos speak for themselves.

Do those statistics surprise you as much as they surprise me (in a sad way)?
Fatherlessness has written a bad story for this world, but the great thing about TMP is that it desires to write a better story for kids’ lives.
