House Cleaning

A few months ago I moved my blog roll to a specific page instead of on the sidebar of the blog (you can find that under “links”). I just felt like the sidebar was distracting you, the reader, away from what was most important. That being the content of the posts of course.

It has been well over 6 months since I’ve touched that blog roll, so it is in need of some touch up.

What I want to do is link to you if you read my blog and are linked to me. Kind of a way of saying thank you I guess.

Let me know in the comments if that is you and I’ll be sure to add you to my blog roll.

Blog rolls are funny things. I’ve started to wonder at the point of them. A couple months ago, Frank Viola (the Pagan Christianity and Reimagining Church guy), said he was doing the same thing, exchanging links. He said that he had several thousand visitors a day and that having a link on there to your own blog would up your traffic. Well, I swapped links with him, and to date I’ve got about 6-7 visitors from that link.

Anyway, that’s getting away from the topic of the post…

Yeah I can’t say I’ll drive you a lot of traffic. I view it more of a kindness thing. If someone is willing to link to me and read my blog I think I should link back to them. It might help your Google SEO a little bit too, I don’t know about that stuff though.
