More Questions

by Tyler

This is another post in a series I’m doing of questions that some of you asked. If you would like to add your question, go here and do so.

Today’s question is from Rose…my wife. I guess I could just walk over to the couch right now and tell her my answer, but she asked it on this blog so I’ll answer it here too. Her question is:

What is one thing you have never told anybody that you want to do before you die?

This isn’t something I think about everyday, and I tend to be the kind of person that shares my deepest desires with people. But, I think I have an answer that I don’t think I’ve shared with anyone.

The one thing I would want to do before I die (that no one knows about) is to go golfing with my dad at Augusta National Golf Course in Augusta, Georgia in late April (right after The Masters). If you’ve never heard of the course, it is the private golf course where The Masters golf tournament is held every April.

There are few places on earth that I would consider to be more beautiful than Augusta National in April. And few places that have more golf history than there as well. It would be amazing to spend a day there with my dad doing what we love to do together: golf.

What is something you hope to do before you die?

I have never thought about that before…
Therefore I have no clue at the moment.
    Will return with an answer…maybe

Oh my. My bucket list is LONG. But one thing I’d really love to do is to spend about a month in Italy, just wandering and exploring.

I’d also love to have a book published…….we’ll see about that.

Great thing about your answer is that it is a real possibility. Good luck – and do it sooner than later! Have already had a book published so mine would be to serve as an Exec Pastor with a Next Gen Leader. I still have a few years (actually several) to achieve that one!

    Two things come to mind..
    - I’d like to see my kids grow up
    - I’d like to travel with the wife (I’d really like to see New Zealand, specifically where they filmed Lord of the RIngs)

Mmmhmm, New Zealand, good call there.

Actually because the course is private you either have to be a member or get a special invitation to play there. And membership isn’t cheap. Bill Gates applied for membership and was denied. They only want serious golfers to join.

the golf course might be beautiful….ha, but i wouldn’t say as much for the town. it’s stuffed in a corner. wink.

i’m a big fan of the “life goal list” …let’s see, one to share…well the one most prominent on my brain lately: learn how to surf.

I can vouch for the stunning beauty of NZ. It’s way more beautiful than any movie has ever managed to convey…

After going through all the things that I have told people before…

…one of the only things I have left is wanting to collaborate with Bjork

Bro I have been there. It made me speachless as my wife and I walked around.

If you had money and wanted tickets some year I might be able to help a brother out. I know a guy who has some.
