One of the important things I needed to do as I worked on my manuscript was to come up with a definition of holiness.

Many great thinkers, pastors, and theologians have come up with their own definitions so mine is by no means the best, but it is one that helps inform much of the book I’m working on.

So here’s my definition…

Holiness is an unwavering devotion to God birthed out of a deep affection for God.

How would you define holiness?

Also, I would appreciate your prayers over the next few weeks. Having just finished a semester of school I’m also taking some time off of work to write. The next two weeks are incredibly important for me as the book starts to come into shape. It’s the first chance I’ve had to focus exclusively on writing since I started this project.
